The Bucks Drive

I tried to think of some magical clever name for this posting but what could be better than just 'The Bucks Drive'. For those that don't know, Kylie and I are getting married in Broome in 13 days time (eeeep) and instead of a bucks night, 10 of us are driving up the coast in a dual motorhome convoy.

The idea for the trip was the result of a pissy afternoon in a reputable Sydney alehouse/RSL back in 2002. I am very happy to announce that co-creaters and original bucks drive inspirers James Patterson and Shane Fleming will be making the trek over from Sydney to complete the job they started way back then.

Adventurers are Jimmy, HumpD, Brewser, Tel, Rezman, Tatey, JB, Smads, John and Bucky Phil. The drive will begin from Brewser's house, 1 week from today...........Wednesday 20th May...........D-Day. Our plan is to arrive on Monday evening but we have allowed Tuesday as a buffer just incase an 'incident' arises.

All the stops along the way are circled in the pic and we are spending 2 nights in Exmouth so that we can go on a fishing charter/whale shark expedition. To say I'm giddy in anticipation would be an enormous understatement!

We have booked in for a 3 hour quad biking tour in Kalbarri on the early morning of Day 2 as a little encouragement to get out of bed and see the world. Our fishing charter on Day 4 is a VERY early riser as we need to be en-route around 7am.........all nighter? Who knows.

We have been throwing around numbers to try and calculate the cost and quantity of beer that will be consumed on the trip. Its both shocking and impressive to know that we may consume in excess of 25 cartons over the 6 days which doesn't include any we consume in pubs.

Lots of organising, lots more fun.

GIDDY UP!!!!!
