DJ Has A Name

Well its been the mother of all posting droughts from me and it's not due to nothing happening, its TOO much happening!

By far the biggest news (and reason for the posting drought) is that we have a new son - Cameron. He was born on the 27th April @ 1.37pm @ 9.35lb. So far everyday has been different and its been a steep learning curve for all involved! Despite a bit of jaundice and a recent spat of colic, he is doing very well and will be celebrating his 3 week birthday tomorrow..... all invited :P

Kylie has been doing VERY well and so far has not bitten my head off....... much. Cam is a very hungry boy so the milk bar can't ever be too far away and she has done well to keep her sanity with a kid hanging off her for 6-7 hours a day. His sleeping patterns have been a little irregular but as time goes on we are settling into a non enforced semi-routine so we'll just have to see how that pans out.

Not much else to add other that I'm finding the whole experience amazing. Still can't believe that the little guy can be born and everything just works: breathing, hearing, sight, cold/hot sensitivity, sneezing, coughing, feeding and even the bowel movements are mind blowing....at the start! He has already developed a bit of a personality and we know a few things that piss him off, hehe.

Will endeavour to keep picasa updated with a few pics every now and then so stay tuned on there if you like goo-goo gaa-gaa moments. You can probably expect my postings on here to be more frequent as I start to get more sleep and my brain returns to normal, well, like it was before anyway.
